The short version

This is a static website promoting a book. It does not run advertising, it does not sell anything directly, and it does not ask you to create an account. There is no database behind it and no form that submits data to this site.

Information collected

Server logs. The web host records standard request information — IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page, and browser user agent. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are retained by the host under its own retention schedule.

Analytics. If analytics are in use, they measure page views and referral sources in aggregate. They are not used to build a profile of an individual visitor and are not shared with advertisers.

The contact form. The form on the contact page has no destination on this server. It assembles the text you type into a message in your own email application, which you then choose to send or discard. Nothing you type is transmitted to or stored on this website. Once you send an email, it is handled like any other correspondence.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own for advertising, tracking, or personalization.

Correspondence

Email sent to the address on this site is retained as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the exchange. It is not added to a mailing list without your explicit request, and it is not sold or shared.

Third parties

Retailer links may appear on this site when the book is published. Those retailers operate under their own privacy policies, which govern anything you do on their sites.

Your choices

To ask what correspondence is held, or to ask for it to be deleted, write to the address on the contact page.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The version published here is the current one.
